Signs and Symptoms of Exposure:

Eyes—Strong eye irritant.  May cause tearing, blurred vision and pain on contact.

Skin— Repeated or prolonged skin contact may be irritating.  Dry skin and irritation from excessive skin contact.

Inhalation—May cause irritation in lungs and throat.  Excessive inhalation may cause nasal and respiratory irritating, dizziness, headache, and weariness.

Ingestion – Gastrointestinal irritant if swallowed.  Irritation, nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting from ingestion.

Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated –May cause dermatitis if skin is sensitive.

Emergency and First Aid Procedures. 

Eyes—Wash thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes.  Get medical attention.

Skin—Flush thoroughly with water.  If irritation persists consult a physician.

At all times wear rubber gloves and goggles.  Flush small spills to a sanitary sewer.  Dike large spills to keep from spreading.  Absorb with sand, earth, sawdust, or other suitable material and place in DOT approved containers.  Do NOT permit material to enter storm drains, surface water, or contaminate land.  Provide adequate ventilation.

Waste Disposal Method – Dispose of residue in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
