Signs and Symptoms of Exposure:

Eyes—May cause irritation.

Skin—May cause mild irritation.  Prolonged and repeated contact may dry skin and cause irritation and sensitization.

Inhalation— Excessive exposure may cause headaches.

Ingestion—May cause gastrointestinal upset.  Aspiration into the lungs may occur during ingestion or vomiting, resulting in lung injury.

Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated –Prolonged and repeated contact with skin can cause defatting and drying of the skin which may result in skin irritation and dermatitis.  Contact may cause sensitization, eye disorders, skin disorder, upper respiratory disorders.

Emergency and First Aid Procedures. 

Eyes—Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while holding eyelids open.  Get immediate medical attention.

Skin—Flush skin with plenty of water. 

Inhalation—No specific treatment necessary since this material is not likely to be hazardous by inhalation.

Ingestion—If swallowed, call a physician immediately.  DO NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by a physician.  Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.  If vomiting occurs spontaneously, keep head below hips to prevent aspiration of liquid into the lungs.
