Acute: Follow good chemical hygiene practices to avoid this hazard.

Eyes—This product may cause irritation to the eyes.

Skin—May cause mild irritation.  Prolonged contact may be more severe.

Inhalation—vapors or mists may irritate nose, throat, respiratory tract.  Excessive exposure may cause headaches.

Ingestion—May cause gastrointestinal upset.  Aspiration into lungs may occur during ingestion or vomiting, resulting in lung injury.

Signs and Symptoms of Overexposure: Redness, tearing or burning in eyes. Redness, drying, or cracking skin if overexposed for long periods of time. Ingestion may cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated –Pre-existing dermatitis or overly sensitive individuals may be adversely affected.

Emergency and First Aid Procedures. 

Eyes—Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes lifting eyelids to insure complete removal. See a physician immediately.

Skin—Wash with soap and water If irritation arises or persists, call a physician. Note to physician: contains 10-15% mineral oil.

Inhalation—Remove to fresh air.  If breathing has stopped, qualified personnel should administer artificial respiration.

Ingestion—Unlikely route of exposure. If large quantity of liquid is swallowed, call a physician or poison control center immediately. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Section VII – Precautions For Safe Handling and Use

Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled.

Caution, slip hazard. Wipe up small releases with dry absorbent cloth or other absorbent material. Thoroughly clean any residue for use around the mouth or eyes for an extended period of time.

Waste Disposal Method – Dispose of residue in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.

Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storing –Follow label directions carefully. Keep out of reach of children. Store in indoors in dry area. Store at room temperatures above 32 ºF . Do not store with fertilizers, seeds, insecticides or fungicides. Protect from freezing. Keep package tightly sealed when not in use. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by usage or storage.
