Signs and Symptoms of Exposure:

Eyes—It is not expected to cause prolonged or significant eye irritation.

Skin—It is not expected to cause prolonged or significant skin irritation.

Inhalation—The systemic toxicity of this substance has not been determined.  However, it should be practically non-toxic to internal organs if inhaled. This hazard evaluation is based on data from similar materials.

Ingestion—If swallowed, this substance is considered practically non-toxic to internal organs.

Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated –None Known

Emergency and First Aid Procedures. 

Eyes— No first aid procedures are required.  However, as a precaution flush eyes with fresh water for 15 minutes.  Remove contact lenses if worn.

Skin—No first aid procedures are required.  As a precaution, wash skin thoroughly with soap and water.  Remove and wash contaminated clothing.

Inhalation—Since this material is not expected to be an immediate inhalation problem, no first aid procedures are required.

Ingestion—If swallowed, give water or milk to drink.  Consult medical personnel before inducing vomiting.  If medical advice cannot be obtained, then take the person and product container to the nearest medical emergency treatment center or hospital.

Section VII – Precautions For Safe Handling and Use

Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled.

Clean up area by mopping or with absorbent materials and place in closed container for disposal.  Consult Federal, State, and local disposal authorities.

Waste Disposal Method – Consult local authorities for proper waste disposal procedures.  Empty de-pressurized containers cannot be reused.  Cans that are pressurized or contain liquid must be disposed of in a permitted waste management facility.  Consult Federal, State, and local disposal authorities for approved procedures.

Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storing –

When utilizing pressurized containers follow standard safety practices for handling aerosols.  Do not store at temperatures above 120ºF.  Odor is not and adequate warning of potentially hazardous concentrations in air.  Releases of these gasses may cause a flammable atmosphere with explosion potential.
