Route(s) of Entry:  Skin Contact, Eye Contact, and Inhalation.

Effects of Acute Overexposure:

Eyes— Irritation may occur with prolonged exposure to concentrated vapors.  Liquid is contact irritant.  May cause corneal inflammation.  Medium hazard by this route.

Skin—Repeated or prolonged contact can cause reddening of the skin, scaling, and dermatitis.  Low hazard by this route.

Inhalation— This material is a negligible hazard due to its low volatility.  If vapor is present in high concentrations, irritation to upper respiratory tract may occur.

Ingestion—Low order of toxicity.  No hazard by this route in normal use.

Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled.

Collect with absorbent material or pick up mechanically.  Rinse affected area with water.

Section 7 ~ Handling and Storage

Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storing –

Store at ambient temperature in closed container to prevent evaporation.  May be store at temperatures to -35°C to 60°C without deterioration.  Product not affected by freezing; however, container may not resist expansion.  Product is a cleaner and degreaser.  Although components have very low hazard levels, the product will remove oils from the skin.  Avoid prolonged skin contact.

Section 8 – Exposure Controls/Personal Protection

Respiratory Protection (Specify Type) –

Not required.

Ventilation

Under ordinary conditions of use for it’s intended purpose, no special ventilation is required.

Protective Gloves –Wear if there is prolonged contact with skin.  Gloves not required for incidental contact.

Eye Protection –

Wear if needed to prevent reasonable probability of eye contact.

Other protective Clothing or Equipment – Observe standard general work practices regarding ingestion, eye contact, and inhalation.  Wash after using if there is a reasonable probability of contact.  Do not wear for prolonged period’s non-impervious clothing that becomes wet.
