Skin Contact—Prolonged or repeated contact may irritate the skin.

Emergency and First Aid Procedures. 

Inhalation— Remove victim to fresh air at once.  If not breathing, give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.  If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.  Keep victim warm and at rest.  Get immediate medical attention.

SkinWash skin immediately wash with lots of soap and water.  If clothes and shoes are contaminated, remove and wash before reuse.  Get medical attention if ill effects or irritation develops.

EyesWash eyes immediately with running water for at least 15 minutes.  Use fingers to assure that eyelids are separated and that eye is being washed.  Lift the lower and upper lid occasionally.  Get immediate medical attention.

Ingestion — Do Not Induce vomiting.  If victim is conscious, give large amounts of water or milk. Do not attempt to give fluid to unconscious victim.  Get immediate attention.

Section VII – Precautions For Safe Handling and Use

Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled.

At all times wear rubber gloves an goggles. Wipe up or mop up small spills. Dike and absorb large spills with absorbent. Place in DOT-approved containers. Then neutralize residue with weak acid or vinegar followed by dusting with bicarbonate of soda. Flush to a sanitary sewer with water.

Do NOT permit material to enter storm drains, surface water, or contaminate land. Provide adequate ventilation.

Waste Disposal Method – Dispose of residue in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.

Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storing –

Keep containers closed when not being used. Do not store near food.

 

Other Precautions-This product may contain a trace amount of one or more of the chemicals on the California list of known carcinogens or substances known to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.  These are not added to the product but occur naturally in the raw materials or processing equipment.

Protective Gloves – Impermeable gloves are recommended.  When prolonged or frequently repeated contact could occur.

Eye Protection – Contact lenses should not be used.  Contact lenses may increase the severity of the injury.  Suggested protection is safety glasses, but where contact with liquid is likely, chemical goggles or face shields are recommended.

Other protective Clothing or Equipment – Wear protective clothing and suitable safety equipment includes safety showers, eyewashes, and proper fire extinguishing media.

Work/Hygienic Practices – Observe good hygiene.  Wash hands thoroughly after eating, drinking, and using restrooms, etc.
