Signs and
Symptoms of Exposure: Eyes—May cause irritation accompanied by stinging,
tearing, and redness. Skin—Frequent or prolonged
contact may cause irritation. Passage of this material into the body through
the skin is possible. May aggravate existing skin conditions. Inhalation—Inhalation of vapor or mist can cause irritation
of nasal and respiratory passages. Prolonged
or repeated exposure may cause irritation to the upper respiratory tract,
dizziness, nausea and other central nervous system effects. Repeated
overexposure may damage peripheral nerve tissue cause mild, reversible liver
and kidney effects, nasal damage, nervous system damage, testis damage, lung damage,
and visual impairment. Ingestion— Can cause
gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Aspiration of material into the lungs can
cause lung inflammation and other lung
injury. |
