Signs and
Symptoms of Exposure: Eyes-Causes severe irritation, redness, tearing, and
blurred vision. Skin—Frequent or prolonged
contact may cause irritation. and possibly dermatitis. Inhalation— Inhalation of mist can cause irritation of nasal
and respiratory passages. Abusive or
excessive inhalation may cause irritation to the upper respiratory tract,
dizziness, nausea, other central nervous system effects, headaches,
unconsciousness, or death. Long term
overexposure may cause liver or kidney injury. Ingestion— Can
cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Aspiration of material into the lungs can
cause chemical pneumonitis and pulmonary edema. |
