Emergency and First Aid Procedures. 

Eyes—Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, until medical attention is received.

Skin—See “Eyes” Remove clothing if contaminated with acid.

Inhalation—Remove to fresh air.  Get medical attention.  Give artificial respiration if breathing has stopped.

Ingestion—Drink large quantities of water or milk followed with milk of magnesia, beaten eggs, or vegetable oil.  Get immediate medical attention.

Sprinkle an excess of sodium bicarbonate or soda ash on spill until foaming ceases and acid is neutralized.  Rinse area with water.

Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storing –

Product is a strong acid and reacts violently with water.  Do not get on skin, eyes, or clothing.  If spilled on clothing, remove clothing quickly and flush off exposed skin with water.  Do not take internally can be fatal if swallowed.

Store in a cool, dry area away from combustible materials.  Do not transfer to metal containers.
