Signs and
Symptoms of Exposure: Eyes— May cause eye irritation by abrasion based on data
form components. Skin— May cause skin irritation by abrasion based on
data from components. Primary hazard
associated with grease in high pressure gun.
If injected under the skin, necrosis could result. Inhalation— Not expected to be acutely toxic by inhalation
based on data from components.
Breathing petroleum oil mist at concentration in air that exceeds the
recommended exposure standard can cause respiratory irritation or discomfort. Ingestion— May cause irritation, nausea or diarrhea. Possible aspiration hazard. |
||||||||||||||
|
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated –None
known. |
||||||||||||||
|
Emergency and
First Aid Procedures. Eyes—Immediately flush eyes with water for a minimum of
15 minutes occasionally lifting lower and upper lids. If film or irritation persists, seek
medical attention. Skin—Wash exposed portions with soap and water. If injected under the skin, get medical
attention immediately. Launder soiled
clothing before reuse. Inhalation—If respiratory discomfort or irritation occurs,
move person to fresh air. If breathing
has stopped give artificial respiration and get medical attention. Ingestion—DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Drink large quantities of water. Get immediate medical attention. |
