Signs and
Symptoms of Exposure: Eyes—May
cause moderate to severe irritation accompanied by stinging, redness, blurred
vision and pain. Skin—Frequent
or prolonged contact may cause irritation and possibly dermatitis. May aggravate existing skin conditions. Inhalation—Inhalation
of mist can cause irritation of nasal and respiratory passages. Abusive or excessive inhalation may cause
irritation to the upper respiratory tract, anesthesia, dizziness, headache,
rapid breathing, narcosis, and other central nervous system effects,
including unconsciousness and death. Ingestion—Can
cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Aspiration of material into the lungs can
cause severe pulmonary injury, possibly progressing to death. |
